All massages are for well being purposes only. The therapist does not offer medical diagnosis and is not a health care provider. Medical or therapeutic massages can only be performed by doctors or physiotherapists. If you have any concerns about your health, you are strongly advised to discuss this with your doctor.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or modify treatment if, in their professional judgement it would not be safe for the client. Examples are, but not limited to, working over sun-burned skin, acute injuries, excessive consumption of alcohol or conditions such as a recent episode of DVT.
The therapist is insured to work in France through +Simple Courtage.
There is a 24 hour cancellation policy and if treatments are cancelled after this time then the right is reserved to retain the deposit made at the time of booking and to invoice the original booking unless it can be transferred to another time at the same location.
If the client arrives late for the treatment then the therapist retains the right to terminate the booking at the time previously agreed without adjusting the fee.
If the booking is cancelled by the therapist due to their illness then the client will be offered an alternative time or be refunded in full. This does not apply to conditions listed under the clause “Force Majeure”.
2. Force Majeure
The therapist will always aim to provide the service which the client has requested.
However, in exceptional cases forces beyond the therapist’s control will make this impossible. Examples include, but are not restricted to, the following events. For the purposes of these booking conditions “Force Majeure” means any event beyond our control, the consequence of which could not have been avoided even if all reasonable measures had been taken.
- Adverse or severe weather conditions such as flooding, electrical storms or earthquakes.
- Civil unrest or war
- Energy blackouts
- Unexpected legislation
- National or regional confinements
- Road traffic accidents, unforeseen traffic delays or road closures
- Significant risk to human health such as the outbreak of serious disease
- Natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster
If affected by a force majeure, the therapist will not be considered in breach of contract and the cost of the booking may not be refunded, neither will compensation be paid or the therapist held liable. Every attempt to reschedule your appointment or provide a voucher for use at a later date will be made.
The therapist may receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide in any other way. In addition, the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet may be collected; e-mail address; phone number, computer and connection information and purchase history. Software tools which measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page may be used. You may be contacted to resolve a dispute, to collect monies owed, to ask for your feedback via a survey or questionnaire, to send updates or to advise you of a change in the terms & conditions or to contact you regarding a change in applicable national data protection laws. For these purposes you will be contacted by email.
